IGNOU Distance MBA Admission Procedure, IGNOU MBA Admission Procedure:

The learners who wish to apply for admission to distance MBA programme in Indira Gandhi National Open University for January-2019 and July-2019 session has to follow very simple Ignou distance MBA admission procedure. First of all, the candidates has to obtain the Master of Business Administration prospectus from the nearest Ignou Regional Centre by paying fee of Rs.1000/- in cash at sales counter.

The IGNOU MBA Student Handbook & prospectus contains all the required information about admission, eligibility, last date of admission, courses, syllabus, programme structure, application form, etc. It is advised to read out the MBA prospectus thoroughly to know about the programme completely.

The university follows very simple Ignou distance MBA admission procedure. The admission to Master of Business Administration will be provided on the basis of merit obtained in the OPENMAT entrance test. The applicant has to fill up and submit Ignou OPENMAT XLII application form for admission to MBA programme for January 2018 and July 2018 session which will be provided to students along with prospectus.

The candidates are free to choose any Region/State to apply for entrance test as per their choice or convenience through any Regional Centre/s. After filling up the application form completely in all aspects, it has to be submitted to Registrar(SED), IGNOU Block No.12, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 via Speed Post/ Registry.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division is responsible for generating the hall ticket, conducting the entrance test and also for declaration of result.

In case if the students chose to download the IGNOU OPENMAT XL Application form and Prospectus from the university official website. Then they have to send the filled-in application form along with Demand Draft of Rs.1050/- made in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi to Registrar(SED), IGNOU Block No.12, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 by Registered / Speed post.

After receiving the application form and fee, the university will send the acknowledgement to students along with prospectus.The prospectus contains the complete details about the programme, Admission Form, Admission procedure, Fee Structure, examination scheme, etc.

Important Instructions to fill up IGNOU MBA Admission Form:

If the student qualifies in the IGNOU Management entrance test, he/ she can apply for admission by visiting their nearest IGNOU Regional Centre and filling up the admission form.The candidates who will qualify the OPENMAT XLII entrance test will be eligible to apply for admission in both January and July 2017 sessions.

The applicant must read out the important instructions carefully before filling up the IGNOU Distance MBA admission form to avoid any mistake. They have to submit the admission form and demand draft of prescribed programme fee at their chosen Regional Centre only.

The applicants will be able to check their Ignou admission status online after 15-20 days of submitting the application form as it may take time by university to update the admission details of applicant on the official website.
